Na spletni strani Stephenie Meyer so danes objavili seznam pesmi soundtracka filma Somrak.

Elizabeth (Stephenie’s publicist) just sent me this awesome news (containing an announcement that is exclusive to StephenieMeyer.com):

“We are excited that we’ve been given the exclusive track list announcement for the Twilight soundtrack (in stores November 4th). We can also confirm that every song listed below will also be featured IN the Twilight movie. The soundtrack has exclusive songs written specifically for the movie from Paramore and Perry Ferrell. The Twilight soundtrack also features two songs from Robert Pattinson—this is the first time Rob has recorded or released music. And, of course, no Twilight project would be complete without Muse.

Here is the official track listing:

  1. Muse — Supermassive Black Hole
  2. Paramore — Decode
  3. The Black Ghosts — Full Moon
  4. Linkin Park — Leave Out All The Rest
  5. MuteMath — Spotlight (Twilight Mix)
  6. Perry Farrell — Going All The Way (Into The Twilight)
  7. Collective Soul — Tremble For My Beloved
  8. Paramore — I Caught Myself
  9. Blue Foundation — Eyes On Fire
  10. Rob Pattinson — Never Think
  11. Iron & Wine — Flightless Bird, American Mouth

‘Twilight’ Soundtrack To Include Muse, Linkin Park And, Of Course, Robert Pattinson

Iron & Wine, Collective Soul and others also join previously announced Paramore and Perry Ferrell.

You already knew Paramore and Perry Farrell had secured spots on the “Twilight” soundtrack, but there was much speculation about who else would be joining them. Would author Stephenie Meyer’s faves, Muse, make the cut? Or how about Blue October, whose frontman Justin Furstenfeld toured with Meyer back in August? And while we’re at it, maybe Vampire Weekend or the Blood Brothers could sneak their way on there — you know, thanks to their names and all.

Well, we can stop speculating: On Monday (October 6), the folks at Chop Shop Records (and Atlantic Records too) announced the official track listing for the “Twilight” soundtrack, which arrives in stores on November 4.

And to answer your questions: Yes, Muse are on there. No, Blue October aren’t. And neither are Vampire Weekend or the Blood Brothers (they broke up last year, after all).

Instead, the soundtrack boasts contributions from Linkin Park, Iron & Wine, MuteMath and Collective Soul. Also, Team Edward fans will rejoice that star Robert Pattinson’s song “Never Think” made the cut. Producers also confirmed that all the songs featured on the soundtrack will actually be in the “Twilight” movie, making good on director Catherine Hardwicke’s promise that though Pattinson’s version of “Bella’s Lullaby” was ultimately replaced, his musical talents didn’t go to waste.

In addition to Paramore’s “Decode,” which premiered on Meyer’s Web site last week, their song “I Caught Myself” is also on the soundtrack. According to a source at Atlantic, the band is slated to shoot a video for “Decode,” the album’s first single, early next week.

Here’s the full track list for the “Twilight” soundtrack, according to Chop Shop/ Atlantic:

Muse – “Supermassive Black Hole”
Paramore – “Decode”
The Black Ghosts – “Full Moon”
Linkin Park – “Leave Out All the Rest”
MuteMath – “Spotlight” (“Twilight” mix)
Perry Farrell – “Going All the Way (Into the Twilight)”
Collective Soul – “Tremble for My Beloved”
Paramore – “I Caught Myself ”
Blue Foundation – “Eyes on Fire”
Rob Pattinson – “Never Think”
Iron & Wine – “Flightless Bird, American Mouth”
Carter Burwell – “Bella’s Lullaby”

‘Twilight’ Soundtrack: Cullen-Worthy Or Merely Mortal?

So, by now you’re probably aware that the track listing for the “Twilight” soundtrack was announced earlier today. You already knew Paramore and Perry Farrell were on there, and it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Muse would make the cut too. But after that, all bets were off.

Given author Stephenie Meyer’s close relationship with music — she posts a “playlist” for each book in the series on her official site — and the rather intense feelings fans have for the “Twilight” books, there was a sense that the film’s soundtrack would be something extra special. There would be much care put into selecting songs, since this wasn’t the soundtrack to just any ordinary film, it was the soundtrack to readers’ imaginations and fantasies. This was clearly a big deal.

Which is why it’s somewhat disappointing that, in the end, what we got was little more than a fairly formulaic soundtrack to a Hollywood film. Songs from big-name acts? Check! (Linkin Park, Paramore and, in a stretch, Collective Soul.) A track by one of the actors in the film? You bet! (Robert Pattinson contributes a song called “Never Think.”) A couple of selections from bands you’ve never heard of? Absolutely. (The Black Ghosts, Blue Foundation.) Oh, and how about an older song that’s been “remixed” for the film, or a composition from the guy who’s scoring the movie? Done and done. (MuteMath’s “Spotlight” ["Twilight" Mix] and Carter Burwell’s “Bella’s Lullaby.”)

We’re certain we’re not the only ones who feel this way, so we’re turning it over to all you “Twilight” fans out there. What do you think of the list? Are you bummed that a certain artist didn’t make the cut? And where do you think these songs will feature in the film?
