Stran Twilight Series Theories je objavila prevod izjave Vanesse Perez, urednice knjižne zbirke Somrak v španskem jeziku.
Breaking Dawn is a novel that practically must be read with sunglasses, because you will dazzle chapter in chapter. I have read almost the whole with my mouth open, is full of surprising turns. When you think history is going to take a course, suddenly gives an unexpected twist that drags the characters where you never imagined. In addition, after reading the three previous books-and when you feel you know Bella, Edward and Jacob as if they were important people in your own life-and you know exactly how they think each one is exciting to see how they react when faced with all these new situations and are well screened by the destination, experiencing great happiness, great dangers, passions and… yes, great sufferings too. Not to mention the new characters appearing … I am sure you will love. Of course, Breaking Dawn is a reading so beautiful and dazzling as its name. Who would say that we expected something like that, after the Eclipse …
Na strani National Post so objavili nov članek o filmu Somrak. Najbolj zanimiv del je prav gotovo o izbori igralcev za vlogi Belle in Edwarda.
L. A. actress Stewart, 18, first made a name for herself as Jodie Foster’s sullen diabetic daughter in 2002’s Panic Room. She also received decent notices playing the cranky sister in the fantasy adventure Zathura. But it was her brief heart-felt role in Into The Wild opposite Emile Hirsch that got Hardwicke interested in her for the Twilight part.
“I talked Emile,” recalls Hardwicke, referring to her Lords Of Dogtown featured player. “And he had lots of nice things to say about Kristen from Into The Wild.”
Then she met Stewart and was convinced that the young actress could pull of the complicated part of “a clumsy and shy teen who didn’t like the spotlight” but who ends up “so obsessed with her true love she’s willing to give up who she is.”
On the other hand, the Pattinson selection took a great deal longer. He won out from over 5,000 other acting hopefuls. And it’s his second role of a lifetime. Pattinson was doing low profile theatre roles and part-time modeling when he landed the part of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
That was a start. But Hardwicke discovered there was much more to the 22- year-old actor born and raised in London.
“It was a massive challenge to find Edward,” the director says. “Not many actors can live up to the image in the book - the pale skin and the other-worldly beauty.”
Hardwicke maintains most of the actors they auditioned for Edward were handsome “but they all looked like the All-American guy.”
Pattinson was different. “He had everything we needed,” Hardwicke notes. “And he had that angular face and kind of mysterious Edward aura.”
