In our second exclusive interview we got to chat with Justin Chon who plays Eric Yorkie in the upcoming film adaptation of Twilight!
TTR: On your MySpace it states that you are 73 years old. Do you mind sharing the secret to your youthful appearance?!
Justin: I eat a lot of pork… I think it keeps my face really plump.
TTR: What are the top 5 songs on your “most played” list (iPod)?
Justin: Top five songs on my iPod are: Paolo Nutini- These Streets, Ray Lamontagne-Be Here Now, Damien Rice- Cannonball, Simon and Garfunkel-America, and Mason Jennings- My One True Love
TTR: We know you have a shoe store, Attic (attic2zoo.com). Now we are curious… how many pairs of shoes do you own?
Justin: I have too many…Let’s just say they can fill up a few rooms.
TTR: In a previous interview with twilighteternity.com, you spoke about a dog biting you while on set. What is the story behind that?!
Justin: I was shooting this scene where these rotweilers were supposed to chase me and I think one of them got a little too excited and decided to give me a little nipperoo.
TTR: Do you have a favorite quote or motto?
Justin: Don’t be a dick.
TTR: What is the best part about your job?
Justin: I think the best part of my job is acting out things that would never happen to me in real life.
TTR: Do you have certain rituals/steps you go through to prepare yourself before going on set?
Justin: I prepare for every role very differently.
TTR: When you first heard about nabbing the part of Eric, were you excited? Did you celebrate?
Justin: Yes, I was extremely excited and I did celebrate, in my room….alone.
TTR: When was the first moment you realized that “WOW! This is huge!”
Justin: When I started to see the twilight moms on set.
TTR: Do you have any crazy Twilight fan encounter stories yet?
Justin: Not really… I don’t think anything has been that crazy.
TTR: Are you enjoying the Twilight buzz?
Justin: I love it….I don’t live for the attention…but its pretty cool.
TTR: During filming, was there a scene that you thought, “Hey! I can’t wait to see this on screen”?
Justin: I honestly get freaked out whenever I see myself on screen…so not really.
TTR: How well did you and the other cast members interact with one another?
Justin: Everyone was really cool with each other so it was awesome.
TTR: Could you give us a brief synopsis on your next project, a cultural film, The Lions Den.
Justin: It’s centered around the la riots….
TTR: You have said that you are a fan of the books. Does this mean you will be waiting in line for Breaking Dawn come August?
Justin: I don’t really like crowded places, but I will eventually get it when I have a chance.
TTR: Do you have any theories or hopes as to what might be in the fourth installment?
Justin: I have no idea…I just hope it takes all of us by surprise.
TTR: The fans would like to know…are you still single? If the answer to that question is yes, for all the hopefuls out there, what makes you swoon?!
Justin: I actually am single…and the thing that makes me weak in the knees is a girl who is just really fun to hang out with and can go with the flow…just ready to do anything.
Thank you Justin for taking the time to answer our questions! We are looking forward to seeing you on the big screen come December!!
